Following their debut LP, Héroe del Trabajo/El Acero del Partido (1982), and a period of low activity, E.G. reappeared in 1985 with Comisario de la Luz/Blanco de Fuerza, a mid-'80s industrial classic, in the band's noisiest, darkest, and harshest period. Here are subsonic frequencies ("Comisario de la Luz II"), noisy -- minimal rhythms ("Blanco de Fuerza II") and distorted melodic lines ("Blanco de Fuerza III"), resulting a record that captures the true spirit of eighties industrial-noise.
