On their debut album The Soft Collapse, these backgrounds converge into a sonic landscape that resists easy classification: where the physical weight of metal meets the space of dub and ambient, the freedom of jazz, the abrasion of noise, and the vocabulary of contemporary music. Rather than seeking compromise between genres, Jaberdarwin allows these forces to collide, overlap and reshape one another. Drawing on the most incisive tenets of art-rock, The Soft Collapse moves between density and space, weight and silence, discipline and instability, carving out a territory that belongs entirely to the four musicians who created it. An undefinable music for an undefined space.

https://jackpotrecords.com/products/jaberdarwin-porcupine-tree-motorpsycho-soft-collapse-silver-gold-vinyl-italian-import-pre-order-out-11-2726
