Among them Roger Troutman, founder of the Zapp band brought his unique, cutting edge talkbox instrument to the sessions; Dan Huff (whose collaborations stretch from Kenny Rogers to Taylor Swift) added guitar; while Miles Davis helped the pair complete a track Green had started in his London flat.

Bringing all these individual ingredients together was a Herculean task – Scritti Politti admit to ‘enjoying’ a tense relationship by the time the sessions concluded – but it led to a stunning record that even now, still sits ahead of its times.

CD contains the bonus tracks, Oh Patti (Extended) and Boom!
