Augustus Pablo was a legendary producer, composer and instrumentalist who was one of the prime architects of dub music as well as creator of some of the most beautiful and atmospheric instrumental reggae ever, often led by his haunting melodica playing "East of the River Nile," originally released in 1978, is an acknowledged reggae classic that has won an audience of fans from all genres of music. The title track is one of his most famous tracks - utterly ground-breaking! Aside from melodica, Pablo plays piano, synthesizer and electric piano, displaying his transcendent melodicism.
