Originally released in 1998, Billy Bragg & Wilco’s Mermaid Avenue launched the acclaimed series that set previously unheard Woody Guthrie lyrics to new music. This 2-LP white eco-mix vinyl pressing features “California Stars,” “Way Over Yonder in the Minor Key,” “Birds and Ships” and more, with Natalie Merchant guesting on two tracks. The GRAMMY-nominated 15-track album is regarded as a landmark of modern Americana. Limited Edition. Indie Exclusive.
