Bo Diddley foretold the rock ‘n’ roll of the ‘60s with his third studio album, Have Guitar, Will Travel. Including two previously released singles “Cops and Robbers” and “Mona (I Need You Baby),” the rest of this album features 7 tunes newly recorded for this LP. This music served as inspiration for the bands of the British Invasion with this album’s tracks being eventually covered by bands like the Rolling Stones, Wayne Fontana, and the Downliner Sect. Standout tracks include “Cops and Robbers,” “Spanish Guitar,” and “I Love You So.” Bring home the sound of America’s greatest blues label in high fidelity with the Chess Acoustic Sounds Series. These audiophile reissues of classic albums and compilations from the Chess Records discography are remastered from the original analog tapes and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Quality Record Pressings (QRP). Each disc is packaged in tip-on gatefold sleeves printed on high-grade board.
