From the early 1960s onward, Claudia (or Claudya, as she would later be credited on her records) became a moderately successful ye-yé singer in Spain. In 1970, probably in a belated attempt to embrace the soul music craze that had also reached Spain by then, she released this single featuring two dancefloor-friendly, fresh-sounding versions of Anglo-American hits: "Un millón de lágrimas," originally a hit for the American rock band The Grass Roots, and "No te creas tú que tan loca estoy," a Spanish adaptation of Bill Deal & The Rhondels' "What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am." More than 50 years after its original release, Munster present the first-ever reissue of this highly sought-after single, featuring these two outstanding slices of soul made in Spain.
