1991’s ‘Green Mind’ took Dinosaur Jr into the major label stratosphere and to the fabled “next level” so beloved of music industry executives. With that trip into the mainstream came extensive touring, new countries and bigger shows, including visits to Europe and throughout the USA.
'Bouncing Off The Walls' brings together highlights from four recordings that chart a year which cemented Dinosaur Jr's reputation as grunge broke and the American underground spread across the globe. Featuring tracks recorded in Boston, Santa Cruz, Mezzago (Italy) and London (UK), all meticulously restored, edited and remastered for maximum listening pleasure, this set perfectly captures one of the loudest and most powerful bands of the period at their live best.
The latest in our ongoing campaign of releases exploring the band's Sire Records period (1991-1997), 'Bouncing Off The Walls' will appeal to fans, completists and anybody fortunate enough to catch Dinosaur Jr as they toured the classic 'Green Mind' album.
