Joao Gilberto was a defining figure of bossa nova, often called its father worldwide and "O Mito" in Brazil. While Antonio Carlos Jobim set many of the genre's foundations, it was Gilberto who refined and reshaped its sound through his revolutionary guitar style and intimate delivery. Originally released in 1960 on Capitol Records, this second LP includes enduring classics such as "One Note Samba," "Outra Vez," "Meditation," and "Corcovado." A landmark recording that helped bring Brazilian music to the world. Limited edition on clear vinyl, individually numbered out of 500.
