For his debut album, this outstanding guitarist hits the mark. With a unique guitar style blending blues, swing, and the dance rhythm of his region, the "Didadi," he delivers a striking and subtle production. With three fabulous female singers with extraordinary voices and a few unusual instruments, he lays the first stone of a unique universe, soft and sensual, reminiscent of the long evenings of southern Mali.
"A major album... essential listening." Vibrations - Elisabeth Stoudmann. "Another gem released by Frikyiwa." Télérama FFF - Eliane Azoulay. "An album that will stand the test of time." Mondomix - Benjamin Minimum. "A graceful guitarist as we rarely find anymore." Africultures - Gérald Arnaud.
