A 2026 vinyl master, cut from transfers of the original ¼" master tapes prepared for the 2010 reissue, on 180gm black heavyweight vinyl. The original artwork from the album's initial release in 1981 has been reproduced for this reissue.Begun at Compass Point Studios in Nassau, Bahamas in the summer of 1981 and largely re-recorded in London on the band's return, 7 was released on 2 October that year and marked a step forward in the band's songwriting. The title was a nod to the lucky number seven. It reached No.5 in the UK and No.35 in Australia. This edition also includes 'It Must Be Love', the band's cover of the Labi Siffre song, which followed the album as a single later in 1981 and reached No.4 in the UK
