Description
This is a pre-order. It will ship on or around 1/29/27
A new 2026 vinyl master, cut from transfers of the original ¼" master tapes prepared for the 2014 reissue, on 180g heavyweight vinyl. For the first time, the complete lyrics to the Madness-composed songs are printed on a 12" x 12"insert. Released on 19 October 1979, One Step Beyond... is the record that introduced Madness to the nation. Recorded and mixed in about three weeks at Eden Studios with producers Clive Langer and Alan Winstanley, it carried the 2 Tone sound into the mainstream alongside The Specials' debut. The original artwork from the album's initial release in 1979 has been reproduced for this reissue.
