Long credited to the mysterious name “Obscure Sighs,” the score has since taken on its own underground mythology. The score is a swirling mix of ambient dread, Tangerine Dream synth textures, and warped DIY atmosphere—one of the few elements of The Jar consistently praised by fans and contemporary reviewers alike. Now preserved on vinyl, this release finally gives the film’s eerie, homespun sonic landscape the archival attention it has always deserved. Expertly remastered by Collin Jordan from the original master tapes for a superior listening experience, this extremely limited edition is presented on colored vinyl and pressed at Graveface Press, our new in-house vinyl facility.
