Celebrate 25 years of Reveal with this deluxe 2-CD/Blu-ray edition, featuring the original album—including “Imitation of Life,” “All the Way to Reno (You’re Gonna Be a Star)” and “I’ll Take the Rain”—alongside The Black Sessions Revealed, a previously unreleased 17-song performance recorded for Radio France in Paris on May 7, 2001.
Recorded just days before Reveal’s release, The Black Sessions finds R.E.M. performing songs from the then-new album alongside catalog classics.
The Blu-ray features Reveal in high-resolution audio and 5.1 surround sound, plus three original music videos and the album’s EPK.
Featuring reimagined Reveal artwork, the set is housed in a 32-page hardcover book with archival photography and new liner notes by journalist Birgit Fuss, including reflections from Michael Stipe, Peter Buck and Mike Mills.
