Formed in 1984 in Ontario, Canada, over the decades Razor have become one of North America's most legendary Thrash Metal bands, developing a unique and instantly recognizable sound. Custom Killing was Razor's fourth full-length album and featured Thrash Metal classics such as "Survival of the Fittest," "Forced Annihilation," "White Noise," and "Shootout." In many ways, it was their most experimental album, pushing beyond the boundaries of their established sound. As a result, it was somewhat overlooked upon it's initial release. However, it is arguably the most ambitious record in the band's extensive catalog. Originally released on vinyl through Fist Fight Records in 1987, Custom Killing marked the final appearance of drummer Mike Embro and bassist Mike Campagnolo in the Razor lineup. High Roller Records' reissue of Custom Killing has been carefully mastered for vinyl by Patrick W. Engel at his Temple of Disharmony studio. The album retains it's original sound and has neither been remixed nor remastered in any way. This is Custom Killing exactly as it was meant to be heard: 100% pure Canadian Thrash Metal.
