Produced by Ross Robinson, the album found the band embracing their heritage by further exploring Brazilian musical textures, and features the singles Roots Bloody Roots, Attitude, and Ratamahatta. A significant commercial success, selling over two million copies, it remains Sepultura's highest charting album in the States, peaking at #27 on the Billboard 200.
