Description
The final studio album by Section 25, a band who have built a lasting legacy as one of Britain’s most important bands in electronic music. They were name checked in LCD Soundsystem’s breakout single “Losing My Edge” and have been sampled extensively, including by Kanye West. The Certainty Of Machines is the last transmission. A collection of songs shaped by time, memory, machinery and the long shadow of a musical life. Alongside the album comes fVCk off - the companion mini autobiography by Vin Cassidy. Two sides of the same story. The records and the book are intended to be consumed together: the music as soundtrack, the words as evidence. Both trace the journey back to the early years - the people, places, noise, mistakes, obsessions and accidents that became a life in music. Available as a strictly limited silver vinyl edition, with the companion autobiography fVCk off. The journey has come full circle. The machines have spoken. Now is the time to draw a line.
