Released in 1980, Sky 2 expanded on the bands distinctive fusion of progressive rock and classical music with an ambitious double-album set. Featuring legendary guitarist John Williams, the album showcases Sky's virtuosic musicianship across extended instrumental pieces, dynamic rock arrangements, and classical compositions. Sky 2 became the bands biggest commercial success, reaching #1 on the UK Albums Chart and #4 in Australia, while the single Toccata climbed to #5 in the UK.
