The Blue Aeroplanes return with Tales From The Silver Lounge, a new studio album inspired by overheard conversations in a mysterious café-bar somewhere in an unnamed city, on an unknown planet much like our own. Set against an evocative late-'50s/early-'60s backdrop, the album delivers the band's distinctive mix of guitar-driven rock and spoken-word poetry. It's wonderfully eclectic subjects range from Greek mythology and falconry to abandoned Teslas, World War I, postcards, and surreal music-hall humor.
