The Cristal Baschet (also known as the glass organ or Lasry crystal organ) is a modern evolution of the euphone, developed from 1952 by brothers Bernard Baschet and François Baschet, in collaboration with pianist Jacques Lasry. Their early experiments metal structures placed on a piano were conceived as "multi-timbral percussions." These evolved into a unique instrument: glass rods played with wet fingers, whose vibrations are amplified by metal structures, producing a pure, ethereal sound. At the crossroads of music and sculpture, the Cristal Baschet is now recognized as a work of contemporary sound sculpture, featured in museums and art collections.

Because many payment processors no longer return transaction fees to sellers on cancelled orders, any orders or pre-orders that are canceled by the customer before shipment will be assessed a 5% cancellation fee.

Q: When will my pre-order ship?
Pre-orders ship on or around the official release date. If your order includes both pre-order and in-stock items, everything will ship together once all items are available. All orders are charged at the time of purchase.
